Hello!

Telling the story of the Brazilian poultry halal production is also presenting a trajectory that helped boost Brazil to world leadership in exportation.

Since the first container with poultry product made in Brazil, which was shipped more than four decades ago to an Arab nation, today almost half of our exports consist of halal. They are products that fully respect Islamic precepts, meet the required sanitary criteria and help food security in many nations.

Our ties go beyond that. The Islamic culture is present and intertwined with the Brazilian way of life. In gastronomy, for example, we can notice this ranging from more purist restaurants – with traditional dishes – to those that make adaptations for more popular tastes buds.

The Islamic community is one of the largest in Brazil and it can be found in practically all major centrers. It was from this community that the in-depth knowledge about Islam, accumulated by Brazilian poultry, and the title of being the largest halal exporter on the planet came from, to deliver a product of the highest quality and in accordance with Islamic precepts to consumers around the world.

This is a story of partnership, trust, cooperation and complementarity that we will tell in the following pages.
